I don't want to use iCloud since Google is so much easier for managing and sharing albums to the rest of the family, and I already have 90,000 pics/vids in Google Photos. Sure, I could export the entire library out of Photos and then upload them to Google Photos via a watched folder Drive is looking at, but that's a lot of work and still does not sync when I add new images to Photos. I'm at a loss on how to use Google Photos at all via Drive on Mac OS if I am still managing and uploading them to the Photos application. I even tried selecting individual pics/videos inside those folders and they are all greyed out and cannot be selected to go to either. I tried all the sub folders right down to the ones housing the images but it's the same, it'll only let me upload to Drive and the Google Photos option is greyed out.
